La Mirada Armada – Swimming and Water Polo
The La Mirada Armada is the City of La Mirada’s home swim team It offers programs for all age groups and many swim levels. For children ages 5 to 17, the Armada offers a wide team structure ranging from Level 1 to their National Team, which sent three swimmers to the 2008 US Olympic Swim Trials. Water Polo programs for youth are also offered year-round. For adults, a masters swimming program is available for those who would like to get in shape or train for a competitive program.

La Mirada Aquabelles – Youth Synchronized Swimming
Splash!’s age-group synchronized swim team, offers synchronized swimming programs to youth swimmers under age 18. United States Synchronized Swimming Age Group Development Coach of the Year for 2008, Hiea-Yoon Kang has guided the team to be nationally ranked.

Unsyncables – Adult Synchronized Swimming
The La Mirada Unsyncables is a non-for-profit organization whose membership is open to adults 20 and older. The team works out weekly, creating routines for competitions and water shows, and working together to promote the sport of synchronized swimming. Current swimmers range from 20-89 years of age.
